Weekly Summary
Up about $4,600 today, which brings this week's winnings to $8,759. My portfolio is now worth $383,421, up 2.3 percent from last Friday. This compares to a 2.7 percent gain in the S&P 500, a 2.5 gain in the NASDAQ, and a 3.9 percent gain in the Russell 2000 . Thus, this marks the second consecutive week that I have underperformed the major indices. However, I have still outperformed the indices by a healthy margin since the beginning of the year.

How do you do it.. Man, it seems difficult for me. I finally got sick of the loser stocks I was holding and sold off pretty much 1/3 of my portfolio. All at a loss. Hoping to gain some back soon hopefully.
I actually didnt want to get rid of some of them... but I was buying some on margin and wanted no part of that anymore. BBI was not one I wanted to sell. Nor SIRF... oh well.
I used the money to buy E*Trade. Lets see hope that pans out. NVT is coming out with earnings next week as well as SINA. The latter seems to be going up quite a bit last week. I am getting slightly dizzy by this week's erratic motions.

Cramer's commenting on how now might not be the time to buy and HOLD onto profits. He might take profits sooner than later.

Oh.. and I screwed up on SLBK.. hmmm. I shorted it but wrong timing I think. It hit my STOP price of $17.55 and it sold. If only I waited some more.. it dropped back down at the end of day.
Maybe I'll watch it with my STOPs next time.
