Weekly Summary: A bad week

The results on the left speak for themselves. It was a lousy week. My portfolio lost 2.0 percent, underperforming all the major indices. The only upside (and it's not much of an upside) is that I'm no longer getting emails from people who think I make up my results. Let's hope next week is more profitable.

Its still not too late to save your portfolio. Inaction is your worst enemy, like a deer in the lights. In this type of environment of rising rates and stagflation, the best companies to own are large caps that pay a dividend and have the cash flow to increase that dividend.
1. Hedge your portfolio. 2. Reduce your exposure. 3. Invest in non-cyclicals.
